“The eye is the lamp of the body. If then your eye is sound, your whole body will be lighted up; but if your eye is diseased, your whole body will be dark.” –Matthew 6:22-23.

The Science of Iridology teaches that bodily unsoundness is recorded in the eyes. As this ‘window’ let’s in the only light; so it also reveals the impurities of the system, like a dirty window-pane; all is recorded to be seen and read, in order that the conditions may be corrected, and the ‘windows’ kept clean. Then the ‘whole body will be lightened’ up. A window not only allows one to see out, but may be looked into.

The eyes reveal abnormal conditions and changes in every part of the body. Organs are represented in the iris of the eye in well defined areas. The iris of the eye contains an immense number of minute nerve filaments, which through the optic nerves which receive impressions from every nerve in the body.

In any given condition there is rarely just one organ affected. When one organ is under a strain because of abnormal conditions, a grater load is of necessity, placed upon other organs as seen in the eyes.
